Wild Hearts Bright Stars
Another haunting western by J S Morey

Frank Rainwater was Native American by birth and by bloodline, but living in his adopted country: England.
The migration from Wyoming to Leicester happened when he was a small boy. His father, Howard’s, job meant that he was away for long periods.
Frank’s educational journey therefore began boarding at a preparatory school, followed by Grammar school. Summer holidays were the few occasions when father and son spent quality time together.
Frank was accepted for university where he specialized in American History. After graduating he decided that teaching was his vocation, becoming a Lecturer at Exeter University. Howard, would never let him forget his roots and the mythology, heritage and values of the Lakota Sioux.

He was actually half Crow and half Sioux, but was influenced largely by the latter due to his father’s teachings during the summers.

Post-university he became detached from Howard; he married and moved away permanently.
But later events took Frank back to reconnect with his father, to re-establish himself as a Native American, if not in lifestyle, then in the stories lavished on him from Howard’s rich vault of legend and reality.
In the opening pages we join Frank now, visiting his father for one last time.... start reading now
More about Wild Hearts Bright Stars

Sometimes you need to find out who you were before you discover who you are.

Decisions shaping life are made for you, often by those you love the most. Frank and Ruth reunite with second chances to follow dreams, their hearts - to let stars determine their final destiny.

Frank knew nothing of his father before he was born. I guess none of us do. That all started to change, but only after his dad died. And then there was his mother?

Who was she? And where? Did he have one - living, that is? That, too, started to get clearer when a letter is passed onto him by his father. On his death-bed. With instructions.
To find her.

To find her - before they do. But how? and where? And who are 'they'?

To find the answer to all these questions, Frank has to leave his life in England and his safe university job for the modern wilds of Wyoming where mystery, danger and adventure may find you - whether you like it or not.

It's a feel-good read, romance mixed with tragedy mixed with myth and mysticism as two cultures - the English and the Lakota Sioux - collide with unexpected results.
